Two members of Suffolk Libraries executive management team are taking the Orwell Challenge to walk 23 miles later this month.
Bruce Leeke, Suffolk Libraries CEO and Mandy Wilkinson, Head of Finance and Infrastructure will be walking to raise money for Suffolk Libraries and to help raise awareness of the work of the charity. A Justgiving Page has been set up for anyone who would like to sponsor them.
All funds raised will go directly to helping Suffolk Libraries’ work in communities nurturing literacy, improving wellbeing and tackling isolation.
The 47th Orwell Challenge is organised by The Rotary Club of Ipswich East and offers a wonderful opportunity for people to get sponsored by walking or running up to 25 miles in the glorious countryside along the Orwell River.
