Many of our libraries offer free menstrual products, no questions asked

Periods aren’t shameful. Our Pride and Periods scheme is here to tackle period poverty and help anyone who needs free menstrual products, no questions asked.

Our libraries are trusted, safe spaces for all. Many of our libraries across the county provide free menstrual products.

A selection of period products are also available from our mobile libraries, which visit rural towns and villages across Suffolk.

You can request tampons and pads for all flows and preferences, as well as maternity and bladder weakness pads by completing a simple, discreet form in the library and handing it to a member of staff.

While exact matches and amounts can’t be guaranteed, we will do our best to provide you with what you request, or something similar.

Pride and Periods is funded by the Axter Climate & Community Fund through Suffolk Community Foundation and supported by our partner organisations East of England Co-op, Bloody Good Period and Suffolk Community Foundation.
