Reading with Dementia is an exciting and vital new project delivered by Suffolk Libraries in partnership with The Reading Agency.
The project will involve new groups being set up in libraries offering access to books recommended by the Reading Agency to trigger open discussions about dementia. There will also be activities at the groups that everyone who comes along will be able to join in with.
There is no need to register or be referred, you can attend the sessions as often or as little as you like. You are also under no obligation to get involved until you feel comfortable doing so. There will always be a hot drink and a listening ear waiting for you.
The groups are open to anyone affected by dementia and we are particularly keen to engage with all people and communities including those from minority ethnic groups, anyone with a learning disability and the LGBTQIA+ community.
