Suffolk Libraries, the charity that runs the library service in Suffolk, is delighted to have won the Community-Focused category in the Suffolk & North-East Essex Integrated Care System (SNEEICS) ‘Walk the Talk’ film competition.
The aim of the competition was to show how local organisations in Suffolk and North East Essex ‘walk the talk’ by demonstrating how they contribute to people’s care and health. SNEEICS recently announced the eight winners of the competition which represent a diverse range of voices from across Suffolk and North-East Essex.
Bruce Leeke, CEO of Suffolk Libraries, said:
“We’re delighted to have won this award which is a tribute to the fantastic work of our colleagues and the incredible people we work with in communities across Suffolk. We have so many great stories to share, it’s difficult to fit them all into a two-minute clip but I hope the powerful voices in our video show the positive impact we have on people’s health and wellbeing across the county. We know libraries have a key role to play in the future of preventative healthcare as an integral part of the new Integrated Care System.”
Professor Pope, Co-Chair of the Suffolk and North-East Essex Integrated Care Partnership said:
“I am deeply impressed by the quality of this year’s film entries with the overall winner and runner up sharing particularly powerful stories of the importance of the work we all do in people’s lives across both health and social care.”
