Sudbury Library is relaunching its wellbeing drop-in sessions from Thursday 19 October.
The Open Space sessions will take place every Thursday from 2.15PM to 4.15PM and will be run in partnership with Suffolk Libraries and Suffolk County Council’s Adult Social Care team.
Open Space sessions run in several libraries across Suffolk, providing an informal, friendly environment for discussion and activity, with the aim of helping people to better understand and enhance their personal wellbeing.
There’s no need to register or be referred. Anyone can attend as often or as little as they’d like to. Previous research has found that the sessions help to combat loneliness and to help people build new and valuable social networks.
Weekly Open Space drop-in sessions also run at libraries in Ipswich, Woodbridge, Newmarket, Felixstowe, Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket.
