As you can see, we’re very excited to have launched a brand-new Suffolk Libraries website.
The new site has been funded by a grant from the LibraryOn project which has been set up by Arts Council England to help public libraries in England to improve their online presence and discoverability.
Our new site is designed to provide a better online experience for library customers and anyone in Suffolk looking for information to help them with their wellbeing.
The website better reflects our modern library service which now offers a huge range of activities, books, information and research resources.
We’re hoping the new site will make it easier to find things and will be a more engaging and interactive experience for everyone living in Suffolk. Wellbeing is at the heart of what we do so we’ve made changes so it’s easier to find information about this.
The website is now more colourful with more interactive elements, whilst still being fully responsive, and accessible, so anyone can access it from desktops to smartphones. You’ll see a new video on the home page which shows a colourful slice of library life introducing our strapline of ‘Where I Belong.’
We’re still working on the site so you’ll see more improvements and additions in the coming weeks. We hope you like it! If you’re used to the old website please do take a look around.
