Suffolk Libraries is appealing to everyone who uses the county’s libraries to fill in a new customer survey.
A comprehensive survey of library customers’ views hasn’t been carried out for a few years and Suffolk Libraries is keen to find out what people think of their local branch, including its facilities and activities and the books and other items on offer.
The survey also includes an opportunity to comment on the comprehensive range of online services including the free elibrary and research sites. Perhaps most importantly it will help Suffolk Libraries to further understand how libraries can make a positive impact on customers’ lives and wellbeing.
The customer survey is not to be confused with Suffolk County Council’s recent consultation on the future shape of the county’s library service.
All libraries have paper copies available which customers can fill in by hand.
Krystal Vittles, Suffolk Libraries Deputy Chief Executive, said:
“We know thousands of people across Suffolk love their local library and we’re constantly amazed by the support we get from them. Our new survey is very comprehensive and will give people a chance to provide detailed feedback which is vital for us as we’re always looking to improve the service where we can. We’d really appreciate it if people could spend a few minutes filling it in over the next few weeks.”
The survey will stay open until Thursday 28 March just before the Easter Bank Holiday.
