Home Library Service Volunteers

Our Home Library Service volunteers help deliver books to those who are unable to visit the library.

Our volunteers work with library staff to regularly visit customers who cannot make it into the library. They provide much needed social interaction and deliver books, CDs, audio books and DVDs.

Our Home Library Service volunteers will visit customers to discuss which books they are interested in, collect titles and deliver them to their home or care home.

The minimum volunteers contribute is a morning or afternoon each month. You'll need access to a car, driving yourself or pairing up with another volunteer.
