All About Gin fundraising event with Heart of Suffolk Distillery

A gin-tastic fundraising event will take place at Woodbridge Library on 19 October! We'll be joined by Ryan Luke from Heart of Suffolk Distillery who will be giving a talk and offering a selection of their locally-distilled gins to try.

The bijou distillery is based in Finbow's Yard in Bacton, and is an independent Suffolk icon that makes real gin for real people.  Each batch of around 70 bottles is hand signed and numbered by distiller, Ryan who believes that when he signs each bottle he puts a piece of himself into each bottle.

Tickets are now on sale for £10 and include drinks and nibbles.

Anyone coming along will be treated to three tastings of Heart of Suffolk’s award-winning gins during the talk and tickets will also include a full gin and tonic and nibbles. Non-alcoholic options will also be available.

Alex Downing, Suffolk Libraries’ Fundraising Manager, said:

“We're delighted to welcome Heart of Suffolk Distillery to Woodbridge Library this autumn. The event promises to be an interesting and fun evening as well as raising funds to help our work as an independent charity to improve wellbeing and connect communities!”

There will also be a fundraising raffle following the talk. All proceeds raised will go to Suffolk Libraries to help support the important work we do as a charity.
