Elmswell Library reduced service Wed Apr 1

There’ll be a reduced, manual renewal and lending service at the library due to a power cut.

New free eAudio service: BorrowBox

We’re launching a new eAudio book service on 1 April where you’ll be able to download eAudio by top authors like John le Carre, David Baldacci, Ian McEwan, Patrick Ness and Jacqueline Wilson.

Renovation work at Haverhill Library

Renovation work starts Monday 30 March on our Bookends to Meeting Room space at Haverhill. We anticipate some building work noise but no immediate impact on accessing the library. The work should last a maximum of 3 weeks, with the most noise happening within the first few days.

We’re working on Ipswich County Library’s 2nd floor and the front entrance in Northgate Street. You’ll need to use the Old Foundry Road entrance for a short period.
